Adult Therapy
Adulthood is a complicated stage of life. Its journey can bring fun exciting opportunities, but also challenges that can be difficult to navigate. With the responsibilities of career and work, relationships and family, life transitions, financial stress, and health and wellness, it is easy to become overwhelmed. Research shows that adults that who actively take care of their mental health are able to navigate these challenges with greater success.
Seeking and maintaining balance takes resilience, skills and perseverance. My goal is to work with you by encouraging your resilience, developing your skills and partner in this process of developing and actualizing your ideal self.
Psychotherapy is a personal and individualistic process. It is important to be eclectic but selective. There are many paradigms of psychotherapy, and it is important to find the model that is the best fit with the client. Each challenge brings a variety of interventions and processes that play out in therapy. I have been fortunate enough to have been trained in and practice in several different dimensions of therapy.
